Adult Supports in Niagara Region

Our Regional Adult Social Club. This group is for adults 18+ who do not require 1:1 support. Monthly events are organized with the goal of having adults with ASD meet fellow members of their community and have fun taking part in events tailored to their interests. Scholarships

Autism Ontario will be accepting online-only applications for scholarships from April 1, 2024 - April 30, 2024. Successful candidates will be chosen after that date, and all applicants will be notified of the status of their application by June 7, 2024. Each year, Autism Ontario awards scholarships to outstanding students entering their first year of a post-secondary program across Ontario. The David Conforti - Reach for the Stars Award

Open to Durham Residents Only Autism Ontario Central East is pleased to offer the Hollylynn Towie Scholarship Fund to students with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Hollylynn Kathleen Towie was born on January 2, 1995. Hollylynn was diagnosed with mild autism and a developmental delay. As a child, Hollylynn struggled with peers in school and in her social life. Hollylynn was never discouraged from going to school or trying to make friends. Holly’s dream was to attend College after she graduated from High school. Ouvert uniquement aux résidents de Durham Hollylynn Towie était une excellente étudiante, une fille affectueuse et une merveilleuse amie. Tragiquement, Hollylynn et ses deux meilleurs amis sont décédés dans un incendie à Whitby le 29 avril 2012. Holly était autiste. Sa famille nous a accordé l’honneur de créer un fonds de bourses d’études en sa mémoire, et elle s’efforce année après année de recueillir de l’argent pour garnir le fonds.
