Children and Youth Programs

F.A.S.T (Fun, Active, Social Team!) Club: For children and youth with ASD (Ages 5-12) Participants will be divided into teams, and each night will have a “weekly goal” to meet (i.e. waiting my turn, sharing with friends, saying thank you, etc). They will participate in different stations (fine motor focus, gross motor focus, and sensory & exploration) which will seek to offer many opportunities for participants to interact with one another socially, and build their peer relationships.     Adult Supports in Niagara Region

    Due to COVID 19, all face-to-face programs have been cancelled until further notice. Our Regional Adult Social Club. This group is for adults 18+ who do not require 1:1 support. Monthly events are organized with the goal of having adults with ASD meet fellow members of their community and have fun taking part in events tailored to their interests.     En raison de la COVID-19, tous les programmes en présentiel ont été annulés jusqu’à nouvel ordre. Notre région offre un club social pour adultes. Ce groupe est destiné aux adultes de 18 ans et plus qui n’ont pas besoin d’un soutien individuel. Des événements mensuels sont organisés dans le but de permettre aux adultes autistes de rencontrer d’autres membres de leur communauté et de s’amuser en participant à des événements adaptés à leurs champs d’intérêt. Dans cet atelier, nous vous fournirons un survol du Programme d’aide à l’égard d’enfants qui ont un handicap grave (AEHG), un programme d’aide financière mis à la disposition des familles ontariennes. L'animateur.rice vous fournira des conseils et des ressources, et répondra à vos éventuelles questions.

     

    Cet atelier s'adresse aux parents et aux aidant.e.s naturel.le.s d'enfants et de jeunes autistes (moins de 18 ans), ainsi qu'aux professionnel.le.s qui interviennent auprès de cette population.
