At The ADHD & Asperger's/ASD Centre, we help neurodivergent people find their strengths and work around their weaknesses. One of the ways we do that is with an arsenal of services to address almost every ADHD & ASD-related issue we can think of from every angle, including diagnosis, counselling, coaching, online and in person groups, video classes, and our ADHD & ASD member's lab.

Many of our clients come to us after having had negative experiences in the medical and mental health fields with practitioners who didn't understand their issues. Because of that, all of the therapists and coaches we employ are neurodivergent themselves so that they can draw on their lived experience on top of research in the field.

Goodwill’s T.E.A.M (Transitional Employment And Mentorship) program is designed to assist people with disabilities to obtain and identify skills while working towards integration in the community through employment, volunteerism or participation in a recreational program.

T.E.A.M participants attend an 8 week program and are given an opportunity to access experience through a simulated setting on a variety of tasks with a focus on computer training, janitorial, food services and customer service. Participants are also offered a variety of workshops to help with job readiness and life skills.

Our training and experience are highly specialized in the areas of child development, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Intellectual Disability, Learning Disability, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other social and emotional concerns, including anxiety, mood, and trauma. An Autism assessment may include components of a psycho-educational assessment while also looking in-depth at the individual's social communication skills, behaviours, and interests. Typically this involves some direct testing with the child, structured interviewing with the caregivers regarding their child's early development, as well as observation of the child's social and adaptive behaviour. Consultation, psycho-education and workshops are also available.
