Niagara Tee Up for Autism

Children and Youth Programs

F.A.S.T (Fun, Active, Social Team!) Club: For children and youth with ASD (Ages 5-12) Participants will be divided into teams, and each night will have a “weekly goal” to meet (i.e. waiting my turn, sharing with friends, saying thank you, etc). They will participate in different stations (fine motor focus, gross motor focus, and sensory & exploration) which will seek to offer many opportunities for participants to interact with one another socially, and build their peer relationships.     Adult Supports in Niagara Region

    Our Regional Adult Social Club. This group is for adults 18+ who do not require 1:1 support. Monthly events are organized with the goal of having adults with ASD meet fellow members of their community and have fun taking part in events tailored to their interests.     Une série de six discussions sur des thèmes entourant la transition de l’adolescence à l'âge adulte. Au programme de chaque séance : discussions et ressources sur des sujets spécifiques entourant le passage à l'âge adulte.

    IMPORTANT : Ces activités d’adressent exclusivement aux parents et aux aidants de jeunes autistes qui fréquentent actuellement l'école secondaire. 

    L’atelier de discussion sur le cheminement vers l'âge adulte est offert en mode virtuel (plateforme Zoom) aux parents et aux aidants de toute la province. Les participants auront besoin d'un accès à Internet et d'un ordinateur portable, d'une tablette ou d'un téléphone cellulaire avec haut-parleur et capacité vidéo.

    Play — Parkway Social

    Début des inscriptions le 11 avril 2024 à 12 h

    Joignez-vous au club social pour adultes d'Autisme Ontario, région du Sud, pour une partie de poursuite laser et des jeux d’arcade chez Parkway Social!

     Cette activité s’adresse aux adultes autistes de 18 ans et plus qui n’ont pas besoin de soutien individuel (il n’y aura pas de soutien individuel; deux membres du personnel seront sur place pour accueillir et enregistrer les participants, puis resteront pour l'événement). 

    Les participant.e.s recevront sur place une carte d'arcade préchargée leur permettant de jouer aux jeux d'arcade, et pourront faire en groupe une partie de poursuite laser.

     À NOTER : la carte d'arcade sera préchargée d’un montant de 25 $ versé par Autisme Ontario. Les participant.e.s qui souhaitent ajouter de l’argent à la carte d'arcade pourront le faire à leurs frais.

    Cette activité à un frais d'inscription de 5 $ non remboursable.
