Our team is comprised of Registered Social Workers and Psychotherapists who offer professional, therapeutic support for individuals & families who want guidance navigating through difficult issues or events.

Mental health services for children & youth:
Anxiety/stress management, bullying, communication/conflict resolution, depression, coping skills, mood disorders, family dynamics, school refusal, self-esteem, behavioural disorders (OCD, ADD, ADHD, ODD, ASD, GAD), 2SLGTBQ+ Issues / Experiences.

Mental health services for caregivers/families:

Positive parenting supports delivered virtually to parents and caregivers. Providing one-on-one support services to adults that are looking for new skills and strategies to help guide the child through everyday routines.

PPAO offers evidence based parenting education and support for parents/caregivers of children 0 - 16 years. Our programs are available virtually or self-directed and in-person can be arranged. Some of our programs are free and others are fee based. To determine the best program for each parent we offer free phone intake sessions. All of our programs and services are family focused, based on the self regulatory framework and self referral.

We provide 1:1, dyad, and small group sessions to children and youths in the Waterloo Region. We will provide direct programming, assessments, supervision, behaviour protocols, parent training, and consultations to families.

Behaviour consultation and training for adolescents and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, and those who support them.

Psychability Child and Adolescent Psychological Services is a private psychology practice located in Aurora, Ontario that provides CBT therapy and consultation services to Ontario students in grades 5 to 12. Psychability Child and Adolescent Psychological Services were founded by Dr. Jared Berger, Psy.D., C. Psych. with the goal of improving children and adolescents’ mental health and well-being.

Purple Carrots Drama Studio is an inclusive space which encourages growth in self-awareness and social skills through the Arts. Designed by an Expressive Arts Therapist and Speech & Language Pathologist to improve communication and social skills using the Arts. By combining elements of expressive arts therapy, drama, dance, visual art, and relaxation, we help our participants explore their full potential in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. We provide year-round arts-based programming, specialized in diverse neurological & physical abilities, such as; 8-week workshops, day camps, 1:1 counselling, and community building!

Pyramid Educational Consultants of Canada is the sole Canadian provider for PECS® and Pyramid Approach to Education® training and consultation services.
We provide trainings for professionals and families to assist their learners in developing communication, managing challenging behaviours, and building functional skills. Our product department offers a range of quality materials for PECS users as well as visual aids and tools for organizing supportive learning environments. We also offer consultation services, working with families and educational teams to meet learners’ individual needs and goals.

Climbing is inherently individualized and adaptable. Our therapeutic climbing programs use the medium of climbing to work towards functional goals on and off the wall through consultation with an Occupational Therapist (OT). This therapeutic modality may be appropriate for individuals with a variety of needs and goals including physical rehabilitation, cognitive or learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety and depression, among others. These programs are highly customized. They are available for adults and children, as individual or group sessions. Pricing is adjusted accordingly. A portion of these programs may be covered by third party health insurance or motor vehicle collision insurance. Please reach out for availability and pricing, or to explore specific goals with our OT. Please call ahead to ensure that we are able to meet your needs at the time of your visit.

Dental Services

One to one supports (in home and community) offered from our recreation professionals, across Ontario. Our services are available for individuals with a disability, and we focus on identifying and removing barriers to participation. Group programs (virtual) are available for all ages 16+ and aim to provide independent skill mastery, recreation, and job readiness skills. Provider of individual and group exercise programs for the autism population, for all ages and all abilities. Focusing on increasing motor planning, strength and stability for activities of daily living.

Les programmes travaillent les habiletés de socialisation et de communication, ces programmes offrent aussi du répit aux parents. Le RAPR offre des programmes pour les personnes ayant un TSA :
● Soutien et encourage les personnes ayant un TSA en leur offrant des programmes d’épanouissement personnel et d’intégration sociale
● Aide les personnes autistes en créant et en mettant en oeuvre des programmes d’intégration récréatifs, éducatifs et sociaux.

Play Away with RNA - this day program offers sensory play and respite care for children with complex behavioural needs. We partner with local businesses to offer new and exciting experiences.

Respite Retreat - Located at our office is a multi bed respite retreat which offers 48 hour weekend care (Weekdays are available upon request). Complimentary therapies are always included in the stay.
All our respite programs have a 1:4 ratio at the most.

In-home care Respite care - our staff come into your home and provide care when you need it the most! There is no weekly commitment to hours.

We offer diagnostic and psychological assessments, caregiver mediated early intervention (JASPER), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and applied behaviour analysis (ABA) intervention. We also provide consultation, training, support, and advocacy to caregivers, professionals, agencies, and schools.

We provide in-home IBI through a play based approach. We also provide ABA services that target more specific skills such as toileting, communication, problem behaviour reduction etc.

Neuro-Visual Optometric Evaluations for patients with all needs, including behavioural vision assessments and vision therapy

The Village Family Services provides consultation and awareness of Autism and it's services for families with children on the Autism Spectrum. I help put a plan in place with the caregivers for their child’s needs. I assist with administration of all programs and services that the child is eligible for and provide them with the community children treatment agencies for the clinical aspect. I also offer mental health services through Life Skills Coaching, specializing in the mental health care of the caregivers/parents.

Speech-language assessment, parent coaching, Hanen certified More Than Words clinician, social groups, in-person in the Etobicoke area and virtual available, as well.
