Hollylynn Towie Scholarship
Hollylynn Towie passed away in a house fire in Whitby on April 29th, 2012 along with her two best friends. Holly had autism, but despite this she was an excellent student, a loving daughter and a wonderful friend. Her family has given us the honour of setting up a scholarship fund in her memory and has worked tirelessly year after year to raise money for the fund.
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance directly to students with ASD in Durham Region who are pursuing their dreams and attending a post-secondary institution at any level within Canada. This scholarship is open to first year and returning students.
