Sault Ste. Marie – Workshop – Community Strategies for COVID 19
Sault Ste. Marie – Workshop – Community Strategies for COVID 19
Are you interested in learning how to support your child to participate within the school and community environment?
Over 4 weeks, we will teach you to teach your child the skills he or she will need to participate in school and the community.
Specifically, we will teach you to teach your child to tolerate having his/her temperature taken, tolerate others wearing masks, to respect social distancing and to wash his or her hands for 20 seconds.
Sessions will be one hour. We will share video examples and provide you with the materials such as skill break down and visual supports you will need to be successful.
Update:
Sessions will be available each Wednesday. Participates will register for the workshop and then will be sent the links/attachments to watch the weekly videos.
Session 1: Tolerating temperature taking and seeing others in masks (week of July 29th)
