Central East - Barrie - Clay Handbuilding Program

This event is intended for families in Simcoe County.

Join us at the Creative Cafe for a clay handbuilding program! This program will be split into two sessions. 

In the first session, you will build and create, learning different hand-building techniques such as pinch potting, coiling, slab rolling, molding & more. Pottery instructors will guide you through the process of creating forms with clay and your hands, without a pottery wheel.

In the second session, you will get creative and glaze your pottery with colourful glazes.

Participants will need to return 2 weeks after the second session to pick up their handmade creations to take home and enjoy!

This program is for autistic children, autistic adults and their siblings. Max. 3 per family.

Dates: Thursdays, August 8 and 22nd, 2024

Time: 6:00 pm.

Location: Creative Cafe, 565 Bryne Drive, Unit A, Barrie, ON L4N 9Y3

Cost: $10.00/person. Once registered and paid, refunds will not be issued.

Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain onsite.

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
