Central East - Jacksons Point - Sibbald Point Discovery Program

This program is intended for families in the Central East Region (Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, Durham, York, Simcoe, Grey-Bruce). Priority will be given to families in this region. If you register and live outside this region, your registration will be cancelled.

Join Autism Ontario Central East Region in Discovering Biodiversity at Sibbald Point Provincial Park! Children alongside their parent/guardian can explore the meadow habitat of Sibbald Point through Discover-led and self-guided activities. Activities include bug catching, nature journaling, and a sensory touch table.

Families are encouraged to pack a picnic and explore the park after the program, with other families in your community.

This event is open to registration for autistic individuals and their family. Please register for this event, as spaces are limited.

Location: Sibbald Point Provincial Park, 26071 Park Rd, Jacksons Point, ON L0E 1L0

Cost: $5.00/family. Limit 5 per family. 1 vehicle per family. Once registered and paid, refunds will not be issued. 

Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain onsite.

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
