Central East - Lindsay - Lindsay Twin Drive-In Theatre: Inside Out 2 and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
This program is intended for families in the Central East Region (Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, Durham, York, Simcoe, Grey-Bruce). Priority will be given to families in this region. If you register and live outside this region, your registration will be cancelled.
Families are invited to join us for a night out at the Lindsay Drive-In and watch movies under the stars.
Inside Out 2: Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes: Director Wes Ball breathes new life into the global, epic franchise set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.
This event is open to autistic children, adults and their siblings.
