Autism Ontario is proud to partner with the Grand Theatre in London, Ontario for their first-ever Relaxed Performance for our families at Autism Ontario!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Willy Wonka, the world-famous candy maker, is opening the gates to his mysterious chocolate factory – but only to a lucky few. Among them is the young Charlie Bucket, who joins four other Golden Ticket winners to embark upon a brain boggling, mind mangling, schnozztastic adventure through Wonka’s wild and wonderous world. Chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels, incredible inventions, Oompa-Loompas, and the prize of a lifetime await.

Step into a world of pure imagination with Roald Dahl’s scrumptious musical adventure, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. With beloved songs from the original film, alongside a toe-tapping score from the songwriters of Hairspray, this everlasting show-stopper is the perfect tongue-tastical treat – just in time for the holiday season!

What is a Relaxed Performance?

Relaxed performances are specifically designed to welcome patrons who will benefit from a less restricted audience environment. 

There is a relaxed attitude to noise and movement within the theatre, and some minor production changes may be made to reduce the intensity of light, sound and other potentially startling effects.

Autism Ontario and the Grand Theatre will accommodate our entire group sitting together as best as we can.

Ticket pick-up from Autism Ontario staff will begin an hour before the performance, starting at 12pm.

Last call for ticket pick up from Autism Ontario staff will be at 1pm sharp.
