Toronto Region – In-Person Child & Caregiver Photography Program

Please note that this event is for children in Toronto only. All other registrations will be canceled.
This workshop series offers children and caregivers the opportunity to learn more about photography, while fostering collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and self-expression.
Learn how to take better photos and see the world as a photographer in this fun, interactive, and collaborative series of photo workshops. Register for one class, or register all four. Each class will cover camera basics, creative photography tips and techniques, and fun photo challenges.
We’ll go on photo walks, explore the difference between a photograph and a snapshot, what really makes a good photograph, and how to look at the world as a photographer. Participants will also print their photos in class to take home.
The program will culminate in a Group Photo Exhibit at Beaches Sandbox showcasing participants’ photographs and artist statements on December 17th from 10am-noon.
REQUIREMENT: A digital camera that uses an SDcard. If you do not have a digital camera please email : joy.alma@autismontario.com so that we can arrange for you to borrow one.

Registration cost: $10 (includes printing, mounting and exhibition costs). If this is prohibitive for you, please email joy.alma@autismontario.com
