North Region (Sudbury-Coniston) "Cooking with Squash” (Adults)

Join Autism Ontario and TLC for Brighter Futures for these in-person cooking classes!

Cooking and eating on a budget can be tasty, healthy and fun especially if you're in a group.  Based on predetermined recipes we will discuss kitchen safety, ingredients, prepare a recipe and share the meal together.  In this interactive cooking class you will learn about plant based cooking and the benefits of these vegetables. During the cooking class, there will be a space for caregivers to socialize or partake in self-guided activities.

Location: 38 Cedar St, Coniston, ON

Dates: Saturday October 14, 2023       

Time: 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM

On the menu: Roasted Vegetables & Rice

Fee: $10 / person

Cooking Class #2:

Dates: Saturday November 4, 2023       

Time: 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM

On the menu: Cooking with Pumpkin (Soup & Muffins)

Fee: $10 / person

Cooking Class #3:

Dates: Saturday December 16, 2023       

Time: 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM

On the menu: Vegetable Lasagna

Fee: $10 / person

There are limited seats available so please register only if you can attend and we urge you to contact north@autismontario.com asap if an urgent matter arises where you cannot attend; this will allow another registrant to be accommodated. 

All participants are required to abide by a Code of Conduct that will be sent via email prior to the sessions.
