South Region - Virtual Kids Minecraft Masterclass (grades 3-6)
**Registration opens June 20th @ 12:00pm**
Autism Ontario is partnering with MakerKids to offer kids on the spectrum in grades Grades 3 to Grade 6 a 8-week virtual Minecraft Masterclass.
Kids’ interest in Minecraft is a gateway to other STEM topics such as Robotics and Coding.
Families are responsible for purchasing Minecraft: Java Edition for the program for $35. If this is not possible for your family, please contact allyesa@autismontario.com
Requirements:
- Laptop or desktop
- Internet connection
- Computer or headset with microphone and speakers
- Keyboard and mouse
- Minecraft Java Edition Launcher installed
- Minecraft Java Edition account purchased
Online: Through Zoom, link will be sent after registration
Time: Thursdays from 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Dates: July 7, 14, 21, 28; August 4, 11, 18, 25
Please note that this event is for families in the South Region only. All other registrations will be cancelled.
Limit 1 participant per family.
