Toronto Region – Virtual Kids Minecraft Masterclass

Autism Ontario is partnering with MakerKids to offer kids on the spectrum in Grades 1 through Grade 8 a 6-week virtual Minecraft Masterclass.
Kids’ interest in Minecraft is a gateway to other STEM topics such as Robotics and Coding.
Families are responsible for purchasing Minecraft: Java Edition for the program for $35. If this is not possible for your family, please contact joy.alma@autismontario.com
Requirements:
- Laptop or desktop
- Internet connection
- Computer or headset with microphone and speakers
- Keyboard and mouse
- Minecraft Java Edition Launcher installed
- Minecraft Java Edition account purchased
Online: Through Whereby, link will be sent after registration
Time: Wednesdays from 3-4pm
Dates: July: 13,20,27; August: 3,10,17
Participants must be available to attend all 6 weeks. In the instance that a student misses two consecutive classes, their place on the course will be given to another student.
Please note that this event is for families in Toronto only. All other registrations will be cancelled.
