CWHM Presents Remembrance Day, a virtual presentation on the history of the marking of the end of WWI as 'Armistice Day' and its development into the Remembrance Day of today. Our instructors will explain the origin of the poppy as a mark of remembrance, which was actually first used in the USA.

The program will include a virtual tour around our museum’s aircraft hangar to visit a number of aircraft and hear stories of those who flew and fought for Canada during World War II.

Virtual meeting links will be emailed to participants prior to the session.
