West - Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Workshop

Join Autism Ontario and John McGivney Children’s Centre for a workshop on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Toni Southern, Senior Speech Language Pathologist will lead the workshop and answer questions such as; 

  • What is Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)?
  • What are some of the myths about using AAC?
  • What are the requirements for using AAC?
  • Where can I get services for AAC in Ontario?
  • What funding is available for communication devices in Ontario?

The goal of the workshop is to answer any questions you have about Augmentative and Alternative Communication. There will be lots of opportunity to ask questions and have discussion. 


In order to participate in this event, you will need to be able to access the ZOOM platform; a link will be emailed to all registered participants the day before the event.
