North- Workshop- Speech-Language Pathology 101

Join Autism Ontario and Jessica Ivison from InSight Rehabilitation for an informative online workshop about Speech-Language Pathology. Topics will include Speech-Language Pathology 101, the benefits of accessing a SLP, and why Speech-Language Pathology is a valuable service for children and youth with ASD.

Jessica is a Speech-Language Pathologist who is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASPLO). She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA), and Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).

Jessica completed her Master of Clinical Science (M.Cl.Sc.) degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Western Ontario, and her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology at Algoma University. 

Jessica has experience providing intervention to both pediatric and adult populations with articulation, motor speech, fluency, developmental language, social communication, cognitive communication, and acquired language disorders. She is trained in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Level 1 and Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT) and is currently enrolled in SAC’s provisional certification program with a professional interest in acquired communication disorders, speech, language and literacy development, voice, and resonance. Jessica is a professional, dedicated, and enthusiastic clinician who strives to provide functional and evidence-based care to the clients and families that she works with.
