How do Bees make honey?

 

Join us for a virtual field trip on August 26th at 11 :15am -noon. Autism Ontario has partnered with Bees Bees Honey Company to offer a 45min «How do Bees make honey? virtual field trip. 

 

Did you know, a single worker bee only makes 1/12th of a teaspoon of honey in her lifetime? In this virtual meeting, participants will learn all about the hard work involved in making honey from the bees collecting nectar from flowers to the honey on their kitchen counter. They will also learn about the role of the beekeeper and the tools used to collect honey.

            

Additional details:

•          The event is for residents of East Region only

•          We request that those who sign up are able to participate as there is a limited number of 40 spaces available.
