Central West – Virtual Cooking Program (ages 10-18)

**Registration Opens Tuesday, January 26 @ 12 PM**

Youth with ASD across the Central West region (Hamilton, Halton, Peel, Waterloo, and Wellington) are invited to join our 5-weeks of cooking classes. They will advance their culinary skills with this program led by Anthony Go, chef-in-training at George Brown College and adult with ASD.

This program will be supported by volunteers from Big Spoon Lil Spoon (BSLS) McMaster & Mississauga Chapters, student-run organizations that help teach children life skills along with mentorship.

Each week will feature a new recipe and families are responsible for purchasing their own ingredients before the weekly cooking session. Participants will be virtually supported by a BSLS volunteer mentors while they create their delicious dishes at home!  

Each participant will be receiving one Autism Ontario “Chef in Training” apron delivered right to their home! *
*Participants that have received aprons in the past from similar Autism Ontario programs will not be eligible for these items.

Registration Fee: $5.00

Participants: Youth with ASD 10-18 years old

Time: Sundays from 5:00 - 6:00 pm
Dates: February 28; March 7, 14, 21, 28 (2021)
