Central West – Virtual Siblings Workshop Series (ages 12-16)

Join Shawna Akerman, registered psychotherapist (qualifying), on a virtual adventure to Sibling Island! Claim your core and explore emotions as we conquer negative self talk, critical thinking and honest conversations. Laugh while you create and cook your way off the island. Bring your insecurities and problems to the island and leave with a different mindset.

Each week you will complete a self-awareness activity for developing your voice, communication skills, and advocating for autism. Points will be awarded for all tasks and will help you out on Sibling Island

This program is specifically for siblings ages 12-16 who a brother and/or sister have been diagnosed with autism.

This is an 8-week program. In order to maximize the experience, we strongly encourage participation at each week.

Time: Mondays from 5:15 – 6:30 pm

Dates: January 25; February 1, 8, 22; March 1, 8, 15, 22 (2021)
*No class on Feb 15th – Family Day holiday*

Registration Fee: $5.00
