Provincial Workshop: Building Resilience for Black Carevigers (Virtual)
The Caregivers Workshop: Building Resilience, is a workshop created to support individuals caring for loved ones. The program helps providers recognize the signs, symptoms and complications of burnout and compassion fatigue. The program provides education utilizing evidence-based practice, and shares tools, skills and strategies to directly combat negative outcomes. Recognizing the role of race, class, and access, this workshop shines a particular lens on racialized communities and their unique experiences supporting individuals on the Autism spectrum.
