Toronto GTA - - Mad Science Virtual, Science Of Toys!
**REGISTRATION TO OPEN Nov 9, 2020 AT 09am**
This fun-filled workshop is an interactive introduction to the science of toys. Children will ponder and test the inner workings of their favourite toys while discovering the science behind each of them. An investigation into potential and kinetic energy will allow your children to understand how toys move. They will then use what they learned to create their personal ball-catch game.
Please see below for the materials that you will need to collect prior to the Workshop:
- 1 or 2 Toys
- 1 Ruler or 1 Paint Stick
- 1 Ping Pong Ball, or Small Light Ball (crumpled up paper will work as well)
- 1 Disposable cup (Dixie Cup, Styrofoam, or Paper Cup)
- String (Approx. 2ft long)
- Masking Tape
- Scissors
- Markers or Crayons (Optional)

Limited space.
All sessions will be on Zoom.
The online room will be open 10 minutes prior to the start time for set up, socializing and tech troubleshooting.
