Windsor-Visual Aids and Support

A visual support refers to using a picture of other visual item to communicate with a child/adult who has difficulty understanding or using language.   Visual supports can be photographs, drawings, objects, written, words, or lists.

Research has shown that visual supports work well as a way to communicate.  The two mail purposes are to help parents communicate better with their child, and they help their children communicate better with others.

During this time with your children home and no outside supports we want to do our best to assist you.

As the time spots are limited for this event, you will register and we will contact you to see what visuals you need support with, prepare them and mail them to you or arrange a pick up.
