Sudbury-Little Current – Parent Workshop - Psychological Services Support

This information session is intended for professionals and families of children or youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder who are interested in learning about how a psychologist or psychological associate can support the needs of their child and family.
We will cover topics such as:
1) What is psychology?
2) How are psychological services different from Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)?
3) What is a psychological assessment and what can I expect?
4) What is psychotherapy and what can I expect?
5) Review of additional psychological interventions
6) How are psychological services potentially covered by the Childhood Budget
*Please note that Dr. Price is available to meet with 3 families after the workshop for a 50-minute drop-in session to consult on any mental health concerns related to their child or family. Dr. Price will also return to Little Current on March 25, 2020 to offer an additional drop-in clinic for caregivers.
