Sault Ste. Marie - Teaching Your Teen About Sexuality
The birds, the bees and ASD: teaching your teen about sexuality
The goal of this workshop is to provide parents the information needed to support a structure for appropriate sexual behaviour and offer opportunities for teaching their teens social integration and healthy sexuality. Parents will be provided with concrete examples and a set of practice exercises to support the direct teaching of sexuality. Based on Dr. Isabelle Héneault’s socio-sexual relationship and sexual education program for adolescents (ages 12 to 17) with ASD.
