Come join us during this free workshop and learn about Applied Behaviour Analysis and Speech- Language Pathology!

In this 2-hour workshop for families, you will learn more about the fields of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), and how they can help your child with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).  We will provide examples of how therapists in these fields work with you and your child to teach them new skills.  By the end of this presentation, we hope you will have a better idea of who to turn to for different areas of needs your child may have.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the disciplines of applied behaviour analysis (ABA) and speech-language pathology (SLP).
  2. Understand service models in ABA and SLP services.
  3. Know how to find qualified ABA and SLP practitioners.
  4. Understand how ABA and SLP practitioners can work together to improve outcomes for your child.

This workshop will be provided in English.
