Thunder Bay-Understanding Autism Presentation
Autism Ontario, in partnership with Child & Community Resources is offering Understanding Autism, a presentation which will allow you to explore the diagnosis of autism. The presentation will explain the special talents and abilities that make individuals with autism unique. In addition, the presentation can help participants to understand the difficulties with language, communication and behaviour that individuals with autism face every day.
This learning opportunity allows grandparents, parents, and other caregivers to explore autism and learn alongside one another. We are confident that this program will allow you to “walk in someone else’s shoes” as you are given the opportunity to experience challenges that are experienced by those with ASD through hands-on activities.
