Join us in partnership with the Markham Library and the 18844 Pr0teens for a fun 3-week Lego Robotics Program.

Participants will learn how to build and program a basic Lego Spike Prime robot that can drive with pre-programmed code on an iPad, pick up objects, and use sensors. Building this involves block coding, building a robot base, building an arm and adding sensors. Coding concepts will include “if" statements, loops and movement statements.

Participants will work in pairs. It is recommended that if you are able to bring your own computer/iPad. Instructors from the 18844 Pr0teens will provide a slideshow presentation and instructions to guide participants.

This program is open to autistic individuals, and siblings. Note participants must be ages 9-14 years. Maximum 3 children per family.

Due to the limited class size, we ask that participants who register can attend all three weeks.

Dates: Saturdays, May 24, 31, and June 7

Once your registration is successful you will receive an automatic confirmation.  If not received, please check your "junk" or your "other" box.  If in doubt contact your area administrator at centraleast@autismontario.com

Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain onsite.

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
