North Region - Virtual Valentine’s Social

*Registration Opens January 24th, 2025 at 12:00 PM*

This event is intended for families in the North Region. These include (but are not limited to) Kenora, Rainy River, Thunder Bay, Cochrane, Algoma, Sudbury, Manitoulin, Parry Sound, Timiskaming, and Muskoka. Registrations outside this area may not be accepted.

Join us for a fun-filled virtual Valentine’s social on Saturday, February 15, 2025 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. EST! 

We will play trivia, read a story, and dance! Attendees will have four chances to win $25 gift cards (of their choice) when they enter the Craft Contest, Colouring/Drawing Contest, Writing Contest, and the door prize!

The first 50 registrants will receive a kit shipped to home. Limit of 1 kit per family; kits will be delivered to your home address, so please ensure we have your up-to-date information.

Enter the following contests for your chance to win your choice of $25 gift card! (All ages welcome)

• Craft’ Contest:  Make a craft, attend the North Region Virtual Social event and show it on your screen to enter the contest!
• Colouring/Drawing’ Contest: Colour your favourite colouring page or create a drawing, take a photo, scan or photocopy as clearly as possible and send to caitlin.griffin@autismontario.com.  Submit by Saturday, February 15, 2025 @ 9:00am.
• ‘Writing’ Contest: Create a writing of choice using Autism Ontario’s themed writing pages (example: short story, poem, jokes, etc.) that can be read aloud and shared with autism families at the next North Region Social! Must be typed less than 1000 words. Send to north@autismontario.com by Friday February 9, 2024 @ 12:00pm (noon).

Door Prize: Attendees of the North Region Virtual Social will automatically be entered for a chance to win! One entry per screen.

Winners will be announced (for all 4 contests) at the North Region Virtual Valentine’s Social. Must be in attendance to win!

Please note: The submissions for these contests and photos taken during the North Region Virtual Social will be shared and used for Autism Ontario communications and may be published on social media and/or the Autism Ontario magazine.
