Snoezelen Room at Empower Simcoe

The Snoezelen room uses music, lighting effects, gentle vibrations and tactile sensations which all provide opportunities for a unique sensory experience. This room provides a space where you can relax and have the opportunity to choose an activity at your own pace allowing for exploration, self-direction and fun.

Please note the following when booking:

• Each session is a private 1 to 1 session. These sessions are only for autistic children and youth 17 and under. Other family members are not allowed to attend.  Every child must be accompanied by an adult caregiver for a 1:1 ratio.
• The Snoezelen room is booked for 30-min and is cleaned between each session. Please arrive 5min before your session for an orientation on how to use the activities within the room.
• No outdoor shoes are allowed within the Snoezelen room. Socks or indoor shoes only.

After you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email and link to book your session. Sessions are first come first serve.

Cost: $10 per session. No refunds.

Please note we strive to offer tickets to as many families as we can, but tickets are limited. If for any reason you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we are able to share those tickets with other families.
