Meet Our Speaker: Katy Albert, OCT, M.Ed., BCBA
Katy is a mental health counsellor and parent coach at The Redpath Centre and specializes in neurodivergence and family wellbeing in private practice. She is an Ontario Certified Teacher, Registered Behaviour Analyst and received her Master’s in Developmental Psychology and Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Katy has worked as a therapist and consultant in the private and public sectors and has completed extensive mental health training in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). She is passionate about supporting families and neurodivergent individuals with a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, executive functioning, emotional regulation, interpersonal skills, sleep difficulties, school refusal and aggression. She also trains parents, educators and mental health professionals.
