Central East - Barrie - Caregiver Glass Fusing Workshop

This program is intended for Caregivers in Simcoe County.

Caregivers are invited to join us for a workshop and learn the art of glass fusing. This special place allows us to connect with other caregivers, relax, socialize, share stories, and have FUN!  You will have an opportunity to get creative with some colours and unique piece.

Glass Fusing is the art of layering glass to create a solid designed piece. You choose a base; choose your toppings and design! Once designed and attached, Creative Cafe will kiln fire your glass creation turning it into a solid piece. The piece can then be shaped into a 6" dish, perfect for trinkets or to display in your home.

This will be a small group with a chance to chat with other caregivers to make friendships and support each other in your journey. Autism Ontario staff will also be present and available to chat about supports.

Caregivers will need to return in a few weeks time to pick up their final piece. 

Please register for this event, as spaces are limited. This event is open for registration to caregivers of autistic individuals. Limit 2 caregivers per family.

Registration: $15.00/caregiver. Once registered and paid, refunds will not be issued.

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
