Central East Region families are invited to joi n us for an exciting and educational outdoor adven ture at the Elmvale Jungle Zoo. Spend the d ay with us and walk along shaded and winding trail s\, view majestic white lions and tigers\, delight in the playful antics of monkeys and lemurs\, wat ch the mischievous baby animals play and admire th e beauty of rare and exotic birds and other wildli fe in the natural surroundings of the zoo's 30 acr es.
Elmvale Jungle Zoo is an up-close experi ence for guests of all ages to see\, interact\, en joy and admire. We encourage families to pack a p icnic lunch where you can meet and connect with ot her families in your community. We will have a res erved area where bags\, lunches\, coolers and wago ns can be left while going through the zoo.
This event is open for registration to aut istic children\, autistic adults and their family. Maximum 5 tickets per family.
Families must check in with Autism Ontario Staff between 9:00 AM - and 9:30 AM to receive their tic kets. Our group will enter the Zoo at 9:30 AM. If you arrive after 9:30 AM your tickets will be forf eited. Please plan your travel accordingly.
Cost: $5.00/person. Maximum 5 tic kets per family.
This event is rain or shine. However\, if there is continuou s rain/thunderstorms/extreme heat that prohibits t he zoo from opening that day you will be notified by email.
Once your registrati on is successful\, you will receive an automatic c onfirmation. If not received\, please check your "junk" or your "other" box. If in doubt\, contact your area administrator at centraleast@autismonta rio.com
Registered participants will receiv e an email closer to the event date with any and a ll updates pertaining to this event. If you have n ot received an email\, be sure to check your spam/ junk folders.
