Provincial- Mandarin Workshop- Managing Challenging Behaviors of ASD Children 處理自閉症兒童的問題行

Registration is closed for this event

How do I tell when my child’s behaviour is due to autism or not? Is there any way I could help calm my child down? I have tried giving stickers and tokens, what else could I do if these measures do not work?

The webinar aims to provide a platform to touch on the above questions and to create a space for parents from different age groups to empower each other for hand-on tips and updates on relevant research findings. The talk will be delivered in Mandarin, but Q & A in both Mandarin and Cantonese are welcome.

Speaker: Teddy Cheung is a registered as a psychological associate (autonomous practice in both clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology) in Ontario. He is also a registered clinical psychologist in UK and Hong Kong. He has also published different scales in measuring ASD family needs and stress. Currently, he is completing his PhD at the University of Toronto studying development of sensorimotor and multisensory integration.
