Calling all parents of the Niagara Catholic District School Board (NCDSB)!

Autism Ontario has partnered with the NCDSB to bring you an informational parent workshop. Whether your child/youth is already in school or newly enrolled join us to learn more about Special Education.


Topics to be discussed:


- Various roles of the ABA team members, including the Behaviour Analyst, ABA Leads, and ABA Facilitators
- NCDSB Inclusion Model
- Teachings and values of our faith reflected in our practice
- Description of ABA team involvement for Tier 1, 2, and 3 levels of support
- Criteria for a referral for ABA team involvement
- Process for how schools initiate ABA team involvement
- A detailed description of the Targeted ABA Intervention approach, including the use of the evidence-based Behaviour Skills Training (BST) model
- Transitions within the school board and when new to the school board

Please note that this presentation pertains only to families who have a child registered in the NCDSB or are thinking of registering their child.
