East Region Propeller Dance

Propeller Dance is committed to excellence — creating, teaching, performing, presenting integrated dance. At the core of their work is the belief that dance is for all people, and as wide a breadth of expression as possible is of value. They are recognized as a leader in Canada for innovative, inclusive creations and teaching practices.

This event is exclusive to families in the East Region only. Registrations outside this area will not be accepted. 

There will be 6 classes with a max of 20 students 

The classes will run from June 29th -Aug 6th at 6:15 pm

In order to participate in this event, you will need to be able to access the ZOOM platform; a link will be emailed to all registered participants the day before the event.

Through its Education Programs, Propeller Dance provides dance training through on-going classes and workshops and have been offering  this programming digitally since Spring 2020. All classes are taught by Propeller Dance teachers, accompanied by professional musicians, and supported by dance partner specialists and teaching assistants. 

Propeller Dance Children’s classes give children ages 4-12 the opportunity to develop their own interests in creative expression, explore their unique styles of moving, gain dance skills such as cause and effect, musicality, extension, and repetition, plus create dances within an integrated setting in a supportive and fun atmosphere.

The classes are structured so as to offer a balance between expression and dance technique. 

This series of dance classes will be taught by Teaching Artist Elizabeth Emond-Stevenson and assisted by Company Dancer Bella Bowes.
