Mississauga- Family Night

Registration opens January 29, 2020 at 5:00PM 

Families are invited to come out and enjoy a Family Night style event at Aladdin’s Indoor Playground. Families will enjoy pizza and a choice of drink (pop, water, or juice). We will have full, exclusive use including play structure, arcade games, Piñata pit, and a car track!

Our Service Navigator, Ben will also be on site to chat with parents with any OAP related questions.

Sibling Meet Up and Social with Connecting Dots (Ages 6-14 )

“The program was designed to acknowledge that being the brother or sister of a person with special needs is for some a good thing, others a not-so-good thing, and for many, somewhere in-between. This meet up and social is a spirited mix of new games (designed to be unique, off-beat, and appealing to a wide ability range), new friends, and discussion activities. This part of the program will be led by 2 facilitators from Connecting Dots Behavioural Services, as well as a volunteer from Autism Ontario. 

This program will be 45 mins in length, so siblings have a chance to hangout with their new sib friends at the indoor playground. 

Notes:

This event is open to kids with ASD, sibilings, and their caregivers only. Specialized programming is available for siblings and caregivers for a portion of the event. 

Group sign-up for the sibling workshop will take place on the day of by our team of volunteers. Siblings will be grouped according to age. Sibling participation in the program is encouraged. 

Don’t forget to bring socks!
