Hollylynn Towie Scholarship

Hollylynn Towie

Hollylynn Towie passed away in a house fire in Whitby on April 29th, 2012 along with her two best friends. Holly was on the autism spectrum. She was an excellent student, a loving daughter, and a wonderful friend. Her family has given us the honour of setting up a scholarship fund in her memory and has worked tirelessly year after year to raise money for the fund.

The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance directly to students on the autism spectrum in Durham Region who are pursuing their dreams and attending a post-secondary institution at any level within Canada. This scholarship is open to first year and returning students.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE 2021-2022 YEAR. Click here to print the application package. The deadline to apply is May 24, 2021.
