Autism Ontario Peel - ACTTs Sports Nights

Each week will feature a different sport/skills targeted.

*You can sign up for 1 or more weeks, separately.

Participants will work on following group instruction, develop movement skills and follow a routine with visual supports. The goal is for the participant to have the physical skills and fitness ability to participate in physical activities and to have fun!

The program is run by a trained IBI/ABA therapist.

***Suggested age - 4 to 19 years old*** (mixed ages/abilities)

*This program requires caregivers to support their child and participate in the full duration of the each session for all of the weeks.


LOCATION: Conestoga Public School, 300 Conestoga Dr., Brampton, ON L6Z 3M3

COST: Free

(There will be 3 dates available for this program with 2 separate registrations. The dates are Monday, Oct 15, Oct 22 and Nov 5, 2018. Plese sign up for 1, 2 or all 3 weeks separately.)

NOTES:

*This event is open to children with ASD only.

*Sorry but there are no non-registered children permitted inside the gym due to capacity numbers for our permit. They may wait, with another supervising adult, in the hallway outside the gym.

*Everyone in the gym must wear running shoes (caregivers/parents too). Please make sure your child comes prepared with the right footwear.

*Children should be dressed in comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. There is a water fountain on site.

*Sorry but there is no food permitted inside the gym (this includes edible incentives).

We have exclusive use of the 2 pools and water slide. There are a family, men's and ladies change rooms available. A great, calming way to end the day for the kids and often a chance for the grown ups to get to know each other   Come join us!

iConnext is a group for individuals aged 15-18 yrs. with AS or HFA who would like to get together once a month for fun and activities.

iConnext is a group for individuals aged 18-28 yrs. with AS or HFA who would like to get together once a month for fun and activities.

Fall Karate Classes at the AMA: Higher Needs Group (kids that need some parental assistance)

Children with ASD, ages 6 and up, are invited to attend 10-weeks of private karate classes in Brampton at the Academy of Martial Arts.

Sundays from 10:30-11:20 am 

This is a program for individuals with ASD with increased difficulties. 

**Parents MUST participate with their children in this group one on one**

Sun Sept 30, Oct 14, 21, 28, Nov 4, 11, 18, 25, Dec 2, 9 /2018 from 10:30am-11:20am 

Registration is full. We hope to run this again in the new year.
