Families are invited to come out for an enjoyable family swim at the River Grove Community Centre Centre in Mississauga! The pool will be used exclusively for Autism Ontario Peel for the hour! This event is open to all families with Autism Spectrum Disorder children, youth and adults.

Mothers of children with ASD are invited to a fun night out!  This cooking class happening at the PC Heartland Cooking School in Mississauga.  Classes will be private for the exclusive use of Autism Ontario.

Dad's Night Out - Lazer Tag

Fathers of children with ASD are invited out for 2 games of lazer tag at Glow Zone in Brampton! Have a night out and have some fun! We will provide the rentals and safety equipement needed.

We have exclusive use of the 2 pools and water slide. There are a family, men's and ladies change rooms available. A great, calming way to end the day for the kids and often a chance for the grown ups to get to know each other   Come join us!

Family Skating in Peel!

Sunday, Dec 13, 2015 from 5:45pm to 6:45pm 

Families are invited to come out for an enjoyable family skating at the Cassie Campbell Community Centre! The rink will be used exclusively for Autism Ontario Peel for the hour!  A limited number of loaner skates are available at no cost, if needed.  Learn to skate instructors and select skate aids also on hand for assistance.
This event is open to all families with Autism Spectrum Disorder children, youth and adults.

New! Karate Classes starting in Jan 2016

Children with ASD, ages 6 and up, are invited to attend 10-weeks of private karate classes in Brampton. 

There will be 2 groups, divided by abilities as follows:

GROUP A - Sundays from 10:30-11:20 am

This is a beginner program for individuals with ASD with increased difficulties. **Parents must paraticiapte with their children in this group one on one**

Sunday, Jan 3, Jan 10, Jan 17, Jan 24, Jan 31, Feb 7, Feb 14, Feb 21, Feb 28, Mar 6- from 10:30am - 11:20am
 
Group B - Tuesday's from 5:00 to 5:50 pm

This is an advanced program for children with ASD who are able to follow group instructions. **Children must be able to participate without parental assistance**

Tuesday, Jan 5, Jan 12, Jan 19, Jan 26, Feb 2, Feb 9, Feb 16, Feb 23, Mar 1,  Mar 8, 2016 from 5pm - 5:50pm 
Registration includes: 10x sessions Karate uniform for each student (theirs to keep, given at first class)  This event is open to children with ASD only and caregivers must remain present. Spaces are limited.
