Peel Chapter Sensory Friendly Movie: The Book of Life (Free for Members)

Autism Ontario Peel Quarterly Chapter Evening:  Door prizes and a Guest Speaker coming!

Family Skating in Peel!

Sun, Oct 19, Nov 9, Dec 14, 2014 and Jan 11, 2015 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm only

Families are invited to come out for an enjoyable family skating at the Cassie Campbell Community Centre! The rink will be used exclusively for Autism Ontario Peel for the hour!  A limited number of loaner skates are available at no cost, if needed.  Learn to skate instructors and skate aids also on hand for assistance.

This event is open to all families with Autism Spectrum Disorder children, youth and adults.

LOCATION: Cassie Campbell Community Centre, 1050 Sandalwood Pkwy W, Brampton,ON

BEYOND MOVES Dance Program (formerly known as MIX IT UP MOVES) Saturdays starting Oct 18 - Dec 6, 2014

Dance classes for Boys and Girls ages 3 yrs - 12yrs 
Group 1  ages 7-12    9:45 - 10:30 am    
Group 2    ages 3-6     12:45 - 1:30 pm 
MAX of 10 kids for each group.  These groups are for kids with ASD only. 

Location: The Studio, 250 Clarence Street #5, Brampton, ON

MEMBERS: $50.00
NON-MEMBERS: $100.00
To be paid at the first dance class by cash or cheque.

GOOD NEWS! There are still a few openings...if you are interested, please email your full name and your childs full name and age and which class you would like to attend to: autismpeel.reg@gmail.com   Anyone joining after the first class, the rate will be prorated.

Note: A parent/caregiver must be involved in every class. For that reason, siblings can only watch in the hallway if supervised by another adult.

Mom’s Night Out Event: Mocktails & Canvas

Sunday, 2 November 2014 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Join us for a fun, low-stress event involving food and painting… no artistic skill required!

This is a great opportunity to meet other moms of children with ASD in an informal and relaxed atmosphere!

6:30pm - arrive & order food (appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages are on us)
7:00pm - start painting (while eating and chatting with moms)
9:00pm - event ends

NOTE: This event is intended for mothers and female caregivers ONLY; childcare will not be provided.
