ACTIVE START is a beginner program for individuals with increased difficulties. Participants will work on following group instruction, develop basic movement skills and follow a routine with visual supports. The goal is for the participant to have the physical skills and fitness ability to participate in physical activities.
FUNdamentals is an advanced program for individuals who are able to follow group instructions. This program provides the opportunity for children to work together and gain confidence with their peers while playing team sports/activities as well as increase motor planning and function. The goal is to participate in both individual and team sports with increased success.
The programs will be overseen by 2 facilitators, who are trained IBI therapists, as well as Autism Ontario Volunteers. Please dress in comfortable clothes. Water bottle is recommended. There is a water fountain on site.
Spaces are limited to just 10 registered participants per group.
