Autism Ontario - Peel - SENSORY Movie Morning: Tomorrowland

COST: Free for Members ONLY
$10 per person if not a member *this price is still discounted
This event is sponsored by Autism Ontario - Peel.

Bring out the whole family for a fun movie morning! We will have exclusive use of the theatre and will have lights and sound adjusted for sensory differences. Please join us.

This event is open to children with ASD, their siblings and caregivers only.

Not a member?  You can become one by clicking here  Sign up online, print out the confirmation email and bring it on Sunday to get in free.  Alternatively, we will also have memberships available on site that you can fill out on the spot.

Mom's Night Out: Mocktails & Canvas is back by popular demand!

Sun May 24th, 2015 from 6:30-9:00pm

Join us for a fun, low-stress event involving food and painting… no artistic skill required!  This is a great opportunity to meet other moms of children with ASD in an informal and relaxed atmosphere! 

Schedule:

6:30pm - arrive & get food (You are responsible for paying for food; non-alcoholic beverages are on us)
7:00pm - start painting (while eating and chatting with moms)
9:00pm -  event ends
 

NOTE: This event is intended for mothers and female caregivers ONLY; childcare will not be provided.

iConnext is a group for individuals aged 15-18 yrs. with AS or HFA who would like to get together once a month for fun and activities.  

Let's get together!

iConnext will meet once per month, on the first Thursday of the month.  What are your favorite activities?  Bowling, movies, mini golf, dinner out, games nights, pizza dinners?  Group members will determine all future events & activities.

Paulette supports individuals affected with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.  Following the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis, she creates and delivers training to teachers and parents on a variety of topics: ABA principles, visuals, communications, social skills, self-regulation and many more.  The focus of Paulette's work has involved coaching social skills in the natural environment and stress/anxiety reduction through breath and movement practices.  Paulette is certified in Triple P Stepping Stones, Breathe Body Mind Practice and Facing Your Fears.

Encouraging the freedom to be:  at peace, independent.
