AbilityOnline Launches New Website
Ability Online (http://www.abilityonline.org) is a free monitored online community for friendship, support and skill development opportunities for youth with disabilities/chronic illness, their friends and family. Online volunteers monitor all public messages in order for our members to have a positive online experience, to build friendships, share their hopes and fears, find role models and mentors and most of all feel like they belong.
In 2011, we launched a brand new version of our website which now has separate sections for the kids, parents and professionals and include several program modules (friendship builder, homework help, bully bouncers and leisure education) and a forum dedicated to Autism.
