Camp History: York Region Chapter has made a profound difference in the lives of families living with autism. Our camp has been in continuous operation for over 20 years. Our parent volunteers initiated York Region Chapter's children's co-op summer program in 1987. Partnering with Kerry's Place Autism Services in 2006, camp expanded to specialize in suppporting youth with Asperger's Syndorme and High Functioning Autism. With a 3-year grant from The Ontario Trillium Foundation in 2009, we have been enabled to expand services to adults living with ASD.
