Here are some things the Windsor-Essex chapter provides:

· up to $500 in funding for the summer months for camp or respite care for your child while he/she is out of school

· a Summer Picnic featuring inflatable slides, pony rides, goofy golf, clowns, food and lots more

· a Holiday Party featuring a visit from Santa, cupcake decorating,

     entertainment, crafts, food and gifts for every child

· a Directory of Workers who provide private respite care

· a Representative on the Special Education Advisory Committee of both the

     Public and Separate school boards

· Links members with other resources in the community and other chapters in the province

With a paid membership, you not only get all of the services mentioned above, but you receive four issues of Autism Matters, the magazine published by the

provincial office of Autism Ontario.  There are other bonuses such as a discounted pricing on Realize Community Potential program workshops and events, a

bi-monthly newsletter letting you know what is going on in the chapter and in the community and much more.
