What is autism? You will receive tips on how to disclose the
diagnosis to others. Bring your family and friends to this
informational workshop.

Making Sense of Sensory Challenge
This workshop will answer these questions: What is sensory integration? How can difficulty with sensory integration impact my child and their everyday life? What strategies can I use to help my child?
May 9th
Planning for Summer Activities
Discussing the recreation supports and summer camps for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders in our local area and tips on how to navigate outings to reduce stress and anxiety.
June 13th
Communication, Socialization and Play
The beginning steps on how to work with your child and improve their communication and social skills through play.
These workshops are ideal for parents, respite workers, and caregivers of a person with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. All of the workshops are FREE and are held at the ASI library, 3600 Curry Road, across the road from St. Gabriel’s school.
