Canada Child Tax Benefit (CCTB) - for children of all ability levels

Child Disability Benefit (CDB) - a tax-free benefit for parents of children under 18 who qualify for the disability amount.  Once your DTC certificate is approved, Revenue Canada should automatically begin calculating and sending this amount.

Ontario Child Benefit (OCB) - financial support that low-income families – whether they are working or not – may receive to help provide for their children

Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities (ACSD) - can fund devices, respite, travel costs, prescription drugs, dental care, etc...  for more information call 1-800-267-5111

Special Services at Home - helps provide special services for children with physical or developmental disabilities who are not receiving support from a residential program.  Funding can go towards respite and funding for personal development and growth. 

Assistive Devices Program - helps funds a variety of assistive devices and health products for Ontario residents of all ages.

Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program for Persons with Disabilities (RRAP — Disabilities)-  offers financial assistance to allow homeowners and landlords to pay for modifications to make their property more accessible to persons with disabilities.

ODSP - financial and employment aid for residents of Ontario with disabilities who are not receiving help from Ontario Works

Ontario Works - financial and employment assistance for residents of Ontario of all abilities

Passport - program for adults with developmental disabilities or their families to help them live as independently as possible.  Can go towards respite or daily living.  Application is made through Developmental Services Ontario
