Private Schools
There are relatively few specialized private schools in Toronto, for some reason, but many more in outlining regions. We have included schools throughout the GTA and just outside, in case those are an option for some residents.
Arrowswith School: Although not targeted ASD kids in particular, Arrowsmith school will consider high functioning individuals with ASD for their program. See their web site (http://www.arrowsmithschool.org/) for details. They are located in Toronto.
Scarborough Christian School/Academy: Although not targeted ASD kids in particular, parents tell us this school is more than accommodating for such children. They are located in North York. Contact 416-750-7515.

Behaviour Institute: Behaviour Institute provides centre based programming for children from 3 to 10 years located in our Toronto location at 618 The Queensway. Children receive one-on-one treatment from trained and supervised staff or if the child is being readied for transition into community preschools or schools, through our Preparatory Classroom. Exceptional Learning Centre (eXL): A full-day Elementary School offering students with unique learning needs a language-based curriculum which surpasses Ministry guidelines.
