February Meeting: March Break Camps and Funding

Join us for a Parent Support Group focusing on March Break Camps and Funding. Family Support Coordinator Stefanie Molica will be delivering a presentation on preparing for camp transition, local camps, camp funding and leading a discussion with other parents about camp experience. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our March Break Fund and meet other parents in the region.

Peterborough Cooking Club

The chefs and cooking instructors at the Superstore will show us how to make a meal and then we will share it together.

This class is for children 9 to 18 years old with an ASD diagnosis.

Please note registration is required via Eventbrite, there are multiple dates to choose from ~ you must register for each date you would like to attend.

PEAK Indoor Rock Climbing in Lindsay, ON

Are you between 7-18 years old? Want to try indoor rock climbing?
Then come out and enjoy this drop-in at the PEAK Indoor Rock Climbing and Adventure Centre, an indoor adventure facility where they follow a ‘challenge by choice’ philosophy. You'll be provided with adventure-based programs, activities, as well as awesome indoor rock climbing and challenges on vertical elements!!
New this year – on the registration form you will be asked to pick your first and second choice for
 climbing time slot.Each time slot will be 45 minutes long.

Snow Tubing at Lakeridge Resort

Let's have some outdoor winter fun tubing at Lakeridge Resort!

Bring the whole family and enjoy a fun-filled day of tubing down the mountain. Each person will be give a 6-pack of tickets. This entitles you to 6 runs down the hill.

We'll have exclusive use of the resort from 10-11am, so if you'd prefer to beat the crowd then come early and enjoy an Autism Ontario ONLY tubing party!!

Check in will be from 10-11am. Your tickets must be claimed during this time. You can stay and play all day if you choose.

Join us to burn off some energy on a Saturday night. Families are invited to come and use all the equipment at Champion Gymnastics. Coaches will be on site to support, but parent supervision and attention is required.

NOTE: There are a maximum number of 20 children able to register for this event. Please cancel your registration if you are unable to attend so another family is able to participate.

Ganaraska Model Train Show

Are you interested in Trains? Ever wonder how model trains are made and who makes them?

Then join us at a SNEAK PEAK of The Ganaraska Modellers 26th Annual Ganaraska Model Train Show in Port Hope!!

The show will open 1 hour early JUST for Autism Ontario!!!!

During this private hour you are free to go to the booths and speak with the railway modellers and see all that they have to offer!! This exclusive event is not to be missed, especially if you love anything train or railway related!!

Please note this Social Learning Opportunity is for children 0 to 18 yrs with ASD.
