Tidbits:  Did you know...

1) You have to unregister for an event prior to the event starting in order for us to allow someone else to go? The funding for the Potential Programme, funded by the Ministry, comes with certain guidelines that we must follow.

So please only sign up for events that you will be able to attend and if an unforseen thing happens and you are no longer able to go (happens to us all), please unregister asap.  Many events have waitlists, by unregistering asap, you will allow another family to go.

This is especially important for our weekly porgrams (like Peel ACTTs etc).

For information on how to unregister, please go to:

http://help.eventbrite.ca/customer/en_ca/portal/articles/581556-cancel-a-free-order-or-registration

or please read this:

Every time you register for a Potential Programme Event, you will receive a confirmation.  In that confirmation email, it states also that...

If you need to change your registration details or cancel your registration (children having a bad day, sick, etc. - we know how it goes!) simply go back to the registration page and look for the grey bar at the very bottom of the page and click on "Already registered? Get your tickets".

You can also email the organizer of the event for help if you need to (listed on the right hand side of the event registration page).

Thank you for your support in this and helping every family have a chance to enjoy our events.

Have fun!

2) Our events sometimes list that they are for immediate family members only...if this is listed, then this is because there is limited spots available and we would like as many families to have an opportunity to go.

Sometimes families will bring a respite worker to support the family member with ASD and that is allowed.

Cousins, friends, aunts etc. are not to be included unless they live in your household.

Please help us allow more families to attend the events by following these guidelines.

Thank you!

Sometimes events do not have the restriction listed or they list that others are welcome, in those circumstances ONLY, all are welcome.

3) If you register for an event, even if you do not show, we often still have to pay for your ticket.

So please only sign up for events that you will be able to attend and if an unforseen thing happens and you are no longer able to go (happens to us all), please unregister asap.  Many events have large waitlists, by unregistering asap, you will allow another family to go.
