Why membership is important to you and your family:

1. Your membership will help develop the resources needed to provide public awareness of ASD.
2. Your voice will be added to our extensive membership.
3. You will have the opportunity to attend you chapter and provincial Annual General Meetings and participate on issues directly affecting the Society.
4. A quarterly magazine from Autism Ontario will be issued to all members.
5. Chapter meetings enable you to share experiences and knowledge with others.
6. Current information on issues and research is available through the Autism Ontario website.
7. Autism Ontario works with municipal, regional, provincial and federal government policy makers and program planners
8. You will receive valuable information on upcoming seminars, support groups, and social opportunities
9. You have the opportunity to take advantage of camp subsidy
10. Through many social opportunities you will have the chance to make new friends, share, and socialize with other families who understand what you are going through.
